The Fender Japan Vintage Reissue series continued well into the 2000s, maintaining its reputation for producing highly consistent and well built interpretations of classic Fender designs. The TL-52 Reissue draws directly from early 1950s Telecaster specifications, offering traditional styling, period correct hardware and the unmistakable simplicity that defined Fender’s original solidbody electric guitar.
This 2008 TL-52 is finished in a natural clear lacquer rather than the more commonly seen vintage blonde, allowing the ash body grain to be clearly visible and giving the guitar a more organic, understated appearance. Built to standard '52 specification, it features a maple neck, black single ply pickguard and traditional Telecaster hardware throughout. The instrument remains internally and externally original and is presented in very good condition, showing only light signs of play wear, most notably to the pickguard. A clean and honest example of a late Fender Japan reissue Telecaster, offering classic early 50s styling with the benefit of modern Japanese build quality.
