Introduced as part of Martin’s affordable range, the 000-M is an excellent entry point into the world of American-made Martin guitars. Combining a solid Spruce top with mahogany back and sides, this 000-bodied instrument offers a balanced, punchy midrange and the comfortable ergonomics that have made the "Auditorium" shape a favorite for fingerstylists and singer-songwriters alike.
The 1999 model features a solid Sitka Spruce top paired with laminated Mahogany back and sides. A combination designed for stability and projection without sacrificing the classic "dry" and woody Martin character. The satin finish allows the wood to breathe and vibrate freely, resulting in a surprisingly open and resonant voice for a guitar of this age.
The neck features a comfortable slim profile and a 1 11/16" nut width, making it a joy to play across the entire register. Despite being over 25 years old, this example is in very good condition. It shows some light honest play wear and a few minor indentations in the satin finish, but it remains structurally sound with a healthy neck angle and plenty of saddle height.
As with all our instruments, this guitar has been given a full service and appraisal by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 2 year warranty.
