Antoria guitars imported from Japan and Korea during the 1970s and 1980s offered musicians affordable alternatives to American designs, and have since gained a following for their solid build quality and vintage styling. Models such as the Jazzstar reflected the popularity of traditional jazz archtops during the period, combining classic aesthetics with accessible pricing.
This 1980s Antoria Jazzstar is a full body archtop finished in sunburst, manufactured in Korea during a period when a number of well made export instruments were emerging from Korean factories. Featuring traditional archtop styling with a floating bridge and hollow body construction, it delivers the warm, rounded response associated with classic jazz guitars while remaining versatile enough for a range of styles.
Presented in very good condition for its age, this is a characterful vintage archtop with plenty of visual appeal and an authentic old school feel.
This guitar has been given a full service by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 2 year warranty.
