Introducing the ZVEX ’59 Sound, a distortion pedal crafted to mirror the iconic Fender® 1959 Tweed Bassman®. Pair it with a warm, clean amp for rich, transparent, and dynamic tones reminiscent of the revered vintage amp. The pedal excels in stacking with other distortions, compressors, overdrives, and fuzz pedals, offering versatility in your sonic arsenal.
Electric guitars vary widely, each with its own unique sonic profile. The ’59 Sound accentuates the nuances of different pickups, woods, and builds. From the dense tones of a Les Paul to the twang of a Tele and the sparkle of a Strat, it enhances the instrument's inherent characteristics. Noteworthy is its interaction with guitar volume, providing a lively, clean, sparkling tone when dialed back, distinct from the amp's clean tone, making it microphone-ready.
The ’59 Sound also features a high-headroom, unity-to-50X gain booster with 1 megohm input impedance and minimal hiss. Similar to the SHO boost circuit, it's refined for a standard amp input, less glassy. Use the boost channel independently or blend it with the distortion channel, allowing the distortion to hit your amp harder for boosted solos. Elevate your sound with the versatile and interactive ’59 Sound, capturing the essence of vintage Fender® tones in a compact pedal.
