The 2013 Martin OM-28E Retro pairs the company’s traditional Orchestra Model design with integrated electronics, offering classic 28-style construction in a stage-ready format.
It features a solid Sitka spruce top with solid East Indian rosewood back and sides, built to the OM body dimensions with a 25.4" scale length and 14 frets clear of the body. The mahogany neck has a low profile shape, fitted with an ebony fingerboard and bridge. The OM mid sized body delivers clear note separation, controlled low end and strong projection suited to fingerstyle and flatpicking.
Appointments include herringbone top trim, multi-stripe rosette, diamond and square long pattern fingerboard inlays and nickel open-back tuners. The Fishman Aura pickup system is designed to reproduce the instrument’s natural tonal character when amplified.
