Limited to just 500 instruments worldwide, this Japanese-built Prestige model stands as a bold showcase of Ibanez innovation and Steve Vai’s unmistakable vision.
This 2007 Ibanez JEM 20th Anniversary Limited Edition features a hand-crafted, clear acrylic body with a three-dimensional internal design, complete with integrated green LED illumination. The acrylic construction, produced by a specialist Japanese manufacturer, gives the guitar a unique look and a tonal response unlike traditional wooden instruments. In addition to this, the guitar is fitted with custom DiMarzio Trans JEM pickups, specifically designed to suit the higher density acrylic body. A JEM Prestige neck with the iconic vine inlay provides a familiar playing feel, while the Edge Pro double-locking tremolo delivers the tuning stability and performance expected from a top-tier JEM.
This guitar is in excellent condition, and includes its original case, paperwork, and book celebrating the history of Ibanez guitars.
As with all our instruments, this guitar has been given a full service and appraisal by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 2 year warranty.
