The Ibanez Prestige Steve Vai JEM7V is a modern classic, instantly recognisable for its striking design and association with one of the most influential guitarists of the last few decades. Produced in Japan at the FujiGen factory, the JEM7V combines high-performance construction with the bold aesthetics and versatility that have defined the model since its introduction in the early 1990s.

This 2005 example features an alder body with a thin basswood veneer, paired with a five-ply maple and walnut neck and a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard adorned with the iconic Tree of Life vine inlay. The last four frets are scalloped for enhanced control during lead playing. A trio of DiMarzio Evolution pickups delivers powerful, articulate tones suited to everything from fluid cleans to high-gain precision, while the Edge Pro double-locking tremolo, fitted during this period, ensures excellent tuning stability. Finished with Gotoh tuners and typical Prestige-level build quality.

This guitar is in unplayed original condition and includes its original case and paperwork.

As with all our instruments, this guitar has been given a full service and appraisal by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 2 year warranty.
