This 1999 Gibson ES-335 Dot is an excellent example of a late 1990s Gibson semi hollow body, combining classic ES styling with the dependable build quality of the period. Finished in Cherry, with a lightly flamed maple that catches the eye from the right angle. The semi hollow construction delivers the warm, resonant response the model is known for, with plenty of clarity and sustain across a wide range of styles.
The comfortable neck profile is paired with a rosewood fingerboard featuring traditional dot inlays, staying true to the understated look of the original late 1950s ES-335 models. Internally and externally original, the guitar retains its factory hardware and electronics throughout, and remains free from any structural repairs or modifications.
This guitar is in very good cosmetic condition, with some swirl marks and scratches to the finish, but no play wear through the finish as such, and no repairs to speak of. This guitar has been given a full service by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 2 year warranty.
