Fender Japan’s output during the mid-1990s is legendary among bassists, often praised for a level of build quality and attention to vintage detail that gave contemporary US production a run for its money. This 1994 "Made in Japan" '60s Reissue Precision Bass is an absolute standout, capturing the classic look, feel, and thumping authority of Leo Fender's definitive low-end workhorse.

Finished in an Olympic White that has aged beautifully over the last three decades into a warm, creamy vintage hue. It features a period-correct multi-ply white pickguard and a gorgeous, dark Rosewood fingerboard with classic dot inlays.

The Maple neck is a joy to play, carved to a traditional, slightly wider early-60s profile that feels instantly familiar and rock-solid. Fitted with vintage-style open-gear reverse tuners and a classic four-saddle bridge, it nails the pre-CBS aesthetic in every department.

As seen in the photos, this 1994 example is in fantastic, honest condition. It shows light signs of play wear, minor surface marks, and small cosmetic dings from over thirty years of use. All of which lend it a spectacular, authentic "played-in" character. The frets are in great shape with plenty of life left, and the neck is straight.

As with all our vintage instruments, this guitar has been given a thorough service by the Vintage Instrument Workshop and is guaranteed for 1 year in line with our vintage instrument warranty.
