Introduced in the early 1990s, the Gibson ES 135 combined traditional Gibson semi hollow construction with a more accessible specification, creating a versatile instrument that bridged the gap between the ES 175 and ES 335. Featuring a Florentine cutaway and lightweight construction, the model quickly gained a reputation for its comfortable feel and impressive tonal range, making it equally suited to jazz, blues and rock.
This 1992 Gibson ES 135 is fitted with a pair of P90 pickups, delivering the warm, articulate response and lively midrange that have made these classic Gibson single coils so highly regarded. The elegant Florentine cutaway provides excellent upper fret access, while the semi hollow body offers a pleasing balance of resonance and sustain. Presented in clean original condition and supplied with its original hard case, this is a well preserved example of an often overlooked Gibson model that offers classic looks, superb playability and plenty of vintage inspired character.
