The Boss OD-2 followed the hugely successful OD-1, adding a little more flexibility to the familiar Boss overdrive format while retaining the straightforward operation that made the company's compact pedals so popular. These early Japanese made examples are now increasingly appealing to collectors of vintage Boss pedals, as well as players looking for the character of the original production runs.
This 1986 example is in good condition and remains a great sounding vintage overdrive, particularly suited to pushing a clean or slightly driven amplifier. This pedal is supplied without its original box.
