During the late 1970s, Greco established itself as one of Japan's leading guitar manufacturers, producing faithful recreations of classic American designs that have since become highly regarded in their own right. The EG series captured the look, feel and sound of the Gibson Les Paul, with solid construction, quality components and impressive attention to detail making these instruments increasingly sought after by players looking for vintage character without the price tag of their American counterparts.

This 1978 Greco EG600C is a handsome Les Paul Custom style model, finished in a particularly vibrant Cherry Sunburst that has been exceptionally well preserved. Equipped with a pair of original Maxon made humbuckers, it delivers the warm, articulate tones these late 1970s Greco guitars have become known for, while the gold hardware completes the classic Custom inspired appearance. Showing only minimal signs of play wear, this is a clean and well cared for example that perfectly demonstrates why vintage Japanese guitars continue to enjoy such a strong following amongst players and collectors alike.

This guitar is in excellent condition and is internally externally original with the exception of two changed pots. This guitar has been given a full service by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 2 year warranty.
