The Fender Musicmaster was introduced in 1955 to serve as a stripped down, entry level electric guitar, and would go on to be part of the Fender range until 1982. This 1978 Fender Musicmaster is a great example of a later period Musicmaster, with a stripped back design that still packs plenty of punch. With an Alder body and Maple neck with Rosewood fingerboard, the Musicmaster features a single coil pickup in the neck position.
This guitar is in very good condition, and is internally and externally original and free from repair, with the previous owner having kept it since the early 1980's. There is some minor lacquer yellowing and play wear, but it is generally particularly clean.
This guitar has been given a full service by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 3 year warranty.
