One of the most iconic and sought after amplifiers of Fender's tweed era, this 1949 Fender Deluxe 'TV Front' model is a perfect example of the first generation of Fender amps after the 'Woody' model, manufactured between 1948 and 1953. This model is the 5A3 circuit, and sounds exactly as you would expect, with pristine cleans and a smooth, compressed breakup that people associate with this kind of amp.
This amp has had some changes over the years. It has been recapped and and revalved, but otherwise looks as it should. The vertical tweed covering and mohair grill cloth are original and show some wear. This amp runs on 110V power, so will require a step down transformer for use in the UK.
