1948 Gibson HG-00

A great golden era Gibson flat top, this HG-00 is unique in the fact that it is a square neck 'Hawaiian Guitar.' These HG-00 models are largely the same construction as the LG-00 equivalent, with a Sunburst Spruce top and Mahogany back and sides. Compared to the pre war equivalent of this model, this 1948 HG-00 has a wider body shape, more similar to that of an LG-2. The square profile neck is set up perfectly for slide playing, and this model in particular has an incredibly airy, resonant tone with plenty of volume. 

This guitar is in excellent condition and includes its original case.
