The ThorpyFX Boneyard Fuzz is the result of years of research, testing and slowly accumulating NOS components to produce the ultimate Tonebender fuzz circuit. With the Boneyard, ThorpyFX have created a fuzz pedal that covers the tone of all the Tonebender variants, with incredible versatility and authentic vintage tone in equal measure. The tonal flexibility is provided through a range of flexible controls encompassed in the Boneyard. Three germanium transistors cover the sonic ground between Mk1 and Mk4 generations of the original Tonebender, with the Mode toggle switch allowing the player to take 1 of the transistors out of the circuit, for the traditional 2 transistor tone of the original Vox Tonebender models. The Feed control allows the player to adjust the voltage hitting the circuit, acting like a master Bias control that sweeps from choked out spitting fuzz through to a smoother, more polished sound. The dual foot switch layout also gives you the option of dropping the tone stack out of the circuit entirely, for a different tonal response and greater overall output.
Each ThorpyFX Boneyard pedal offers the following features:
Four knobs to control Volume, Attack (Fuzz), Tone, Feed.
Two footswitches, on/off bypass and tone stack bypass.
A two-way toggle switch for two or three transistor circuit variations.
A beautiful laser cut aluminium enclosure wrapped in a metallic cream base.
Engineered to be robust but functional with recessed knobs, sloped front and top mounted jacks.
9-volt operation and standard DC input
Internally the pedal is immaculately built using premium 1% metalfilm resistors, Wima and Panasonic capacitors, and Neutrik jacks. These are the crème de la crème of the electronics world and when coupled with a robust gold plated PCB and dust sealed potentiometers the recipe is as good as it can possibly be.
The ThorpyFX Boneyard is released as a limited run due to the scarcity of the components needed to make each unit. Don't miss out!
