Rainger FX Pull Focus

The Rainger FX Pull Focus is a versatile high-gain distortion pedal with a unique twist—either a reverb or chorus effect fades in after a short delay. This pedal combines an analog distortion circuit with digital reverb, chorus, and fade-in controls, offering an intuitive and dynamic playing experience. The distortion is based on a blend of the Reverb-X overdrive and the Tonebender circuit, delivering a balanced, full-range tone with adjustable gain that ranges from mild overdrive to heavy distortion.

The fade-in feature, developed from the Break Box pedal, lets you control how quickly the chorus or reverb effect comes in after the initial pick attack using the ramp knob, allowing for smooth transitions between dry and effect-heavy sounds. At full ramp, the effect fades in gradually, while turning it off gives pure distortion.

You can toggle between chorus and reverb with the effect switch. The chorus offers deep, rate-adjustable modulation perfect for shimmering chords or fast, psychedelic twists. The reverb ranges from subtle to vast, blooming into large spatial sounds on sustained notes while snapping back to dry distortion for sharp transitions, creating a cinematic "pull focus" effect.

The Pull Focus pedal also features an active sustain, enhancing your guitar’s signal as the secondary effect fades in, adding depth and dynamics. It includes a noise gate, sensitivity switch, and LED indicators for a smooth and engaging experience.
