Inspired by Hofner’s 1970s Violin Bass models, the Ignition Violin Bass delivers classic Hofner tone in an affordable package. Featuring a fully hollow body, this lightweight bass offers warm, resonant tones perfect for vintage and modern styles alike.

The Ignition Violin Bass includes the iconic Hofner control panel, a wooden bridge, and a Hofner-style tailpiece, staying true to its legendary design. Its spruce top, flame maple back and sides, and maple/beech/maple neck ensure a rich tonal character and comfortable playability.

Equipped with Hofner Ignition Staple Nickel pickups, this bass delivers the distinctive Hofner thump, ideal for deep, melodic basslines. Available in Sunburst or Black, with a left-handed model offered in Sunburst only.
