Guild DS-240 Memoir - Vintage Sunburst

Introducing the Guild DS-240 Memoir - a slope shoulder dreadnought that recreates the classic slope shoulder look of vintage flattops. Crafted with a solid spruce top and mahogany back/sides, the guitar is finished in a sleek Vintage Sunburst. Old school aesthetics include a mother of pearl rosette and Guild Script Logo, reminiscent of golden era, pre-war acoustics.

The DS-240 is packed full of warmth and clarity in its sound, as if it has absorbed years of fireside strumming and family gatherings. Its retro look and slope shoulder design contribute to its instant appeal and comfortable playability.

The Westerly Collection pays homage to an important period in Guild’s early history, when Guild outgrew the beloved Hoboken, New Jersey factory, and moved production to Westerly, Rhode Island in 1967. Now manufactured in China, the Westerly Collection offers the same unmatched Guild craftsmanship at a super affordable price point. 

This guitar has been given a full service by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 3 year warranty.
