Guild D-240E - Natural

Introducing the Guild D-240E dreadnought, constructed from a solid spruce top, mahogany sides, and arched back. Its full-bodied, powerful tone delivers a classic acoustic sound with balanced voicing. Guild’s signature arched back design enhances volume, projection, and sustain, resulting in a lush, full sound.

Equipped with Guild’s Fishman-designed GT-1 Pickup System, the D-240E ensures reliable amplified performance. With a Pau Ferro fingerboard and bridge, bone nut and saddle, mother-of-pearl rosette, period-correct tortoiseshell pickguard, and a matte polyurethane finish, this guitar combines style and practicality.

The Westerly Collection pays homage to an important period in Guild’s early history, when Guild outgrew the beloved Hoboken, New Jersey factory, and moved production to Westerly, Rhode Island in 1967. Now manufactured in China, the Westerly Collection offers the same unmatched Guild craftsmanship at a super affordable price point. 

This guitar has been given a full service by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 3 year warranty.
