Japanese made Fender instruments have long been the go-to for musicians looking for guitars with vintage Fender tone and style that won't cost as much as their USA made counterparts. This 2002 Fender Stratocaster is a great example of a MIJ Stratocaster, and is based on a vintage '62 spec. The neck profile is a classic early '60s medium 'C', and the body features a single ply white guard, along with a '60s 3 tone sunburst finish, emulating the look of a slightly dulled down, aged factory custom colour. The body is fitted with custom shop Texas Special vintage spec single coil pickups with a hotter output.
This guitar is in very good, with next to no signs of play wear to the finish on both the back and front.
