This 2022 Martin Custom Shop 000 Limited Edition Sinker Mahogany is a fantastic example, with pre-war Martin styling and genuinely old tone wood.
This 000 body shape offers a really dynamic and vibrant tone thanks to its top, back, and sides being entirely constructed of Sinker Mahogany. There is no artificial ageing present; these guitars sound as authentically pre-war Martin as you are ever going to hear!
The 000 Sinker Mahogany features Martin's Modified Low Oval neck shape, 25.84" scale length, and 1 3/4" nut width make it incredibly comfortable and easy to play. The Black Ebony fingerboard is the ideal complement to this neck; it is exquisitely made and a real pleasure to play. Due to the amount of wood needed, Sinker Mahogany necks are somewhat uncommon, but on these models, even the neck block is made of the wood.
As with all our instruments, this guitar has been given a full service and appraisal by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 3 year warranty.
