The Telecaster Thinline was initially introduced in 1968 as single coil guitar, before the model was updated to feature Wide Range Humbuckers in late 1971. This Fender American Original '60s Reissue Telecaster Thinline perfectly recreates the look and tone of those first 'Type 1' thin lines, with a semi hollow ash body and comfortable 'C' profile maple neck that features a 9.5" radius for effortless playability. The body is fitted with a set of Tim Shaw designed vintage voiced single coil pickups, with all the brightness and twang of a traditional telecaster, with the added woody resonance of the semi hollow design. Other features include a 3 saddle bridge, lacquer finish and period correct 'F' stamped tuners.
This guitar is in excellent condition, and is externally and internally original. This guitar has been given a full service by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 3 year warranty.
