First introduced in 1961, the Gibson SG has been a go to for players of all kinds for over half a century. This 2017 Gibson SG Standard Left Handed model stays true to the original design, with a Mahogany neck and body design, nickel hardware and traditional trapezoid fretboard inlays. The body is finished in a rather nice looking Cherry Burst colour, which was a limited run in 2017 and only used for one year. This guitar has benefitted from a number of upgrades, carried out by our luthier at the Vinatge Instrument Workshop. The stock pickups have been replace with a Seymour Duncan 59 PAF copy and a Gibson Classic 57 in the bridge and neck respectively. The bridge has been upgraded, as have the tuners with vintage style double ring klusons. The knobs have also been replaced with vintage equivalents, along with the control position markers.
This guitar is in very good condition with barely any cosmetic signs of use, and retains its original case. This guitar has benefitted from a service by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 3 year warranty.
