This 2017 Eastman SB59-TV Left-Handed model is a boutique guitar that delivers vintage tone and craftsmanship at remarkable value. Built by hand with premium materials and attention to detail, the SB59-TV (TV denoting the Traditional Vintage series) is Eastman’s answer to the classic late-’50s solidbody design—ideal for left-handed players seeking Les Paul-style tone with refined touches.
The guitar features a solid carved maple top over a one-piece mahogany body, offering a perfect blend of warmth, sustain, and clarity. The mahogany neck has a 1950s-style chunky profile with a bound ebony fingerboard, delivering a smooth board with excellent note definition and vintage feel.
Electronics include a pair of hand-wound Lollar Custom Aged Imperial Humbuckers, known for their dynamic response, clarity, and rich harmonic content. These pickups, combined with high-quality CTS pots and Switchcraft hardware, give the SB59-TV a sonic performance right out of the case.
Finished in a thin Antique Varnish, this left-handed SB59 not only looks authentically aged but also allows the wood to breathe and resonate more freely. The relicing is subtle and tasteful, giving it a naturally broken-in look and feel.
