Made in Bozemna, Montana, this 2016 Gibson Custom Shop J-45 Limited Edition is one of 75 produced with English Walnut back and sides, featuring a beautiful, distinctive grain patter. This guitar is an exceptional example of a Gibson Custom Shop acoustic guitar, showcasing the craftmanship that came from the sadly now closed Bozeman factory. Constructed from an Sitka Spruce top and English Walnut back and sides, the Walnut gives this guitar a good amount of projection and a tight, resonant low end. The Mahogany neck features a Rosewood fingerboard with slim tape neck, along with the pearloid block Gibson logo and 'limited' truss rod cover. Other features include gold open gear Grover tuners, a belly up rosewood bridge and LR Baggs VTC pickup system.
This guitar is in excellent condition and has been very well looked after, with almost no signs of play wear to speak of. We can fit a replacement pickguard on request. This guitar has been given a full service and appraisal by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 3 year warranty.
