This 2016 Fender Flea Signature Jazz Bass is built to the bassists own custom specs, and showcases some of the most sought after specs of a vintage pre-CBS Jazz Bass.
The Alder body features a beautifully 'road worn' Shell Pink custom colour finish, one or the rarest and most sought after Fender custom colours of the 1960s. The Maple neck features a Rosewood fretboard with a vintage style 7.25" radius and comfortable 'U' shaped neck profile that is very playable, and based on Flea's own 1961 Fender Jazz Bass. The body is fitted with a set of Fender USA American Vintage '64 Single Coil pickups, offering plenty of crystal clear articulation and mid range punch. Other features include a 3 ply tortoiseshell pick guard, vintage style stacked volume and tone knobs, and a custom engraved Flea Signature neck plate.
This guitar is in excellent condition and has been given a full service and appraisal by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 3 year warranty. This guitar also includes a hard case.
