Japanese made Fender instruments have long been the go-to for musicians looking for guitars with vintage Fender tone and style that won't cost as much as their USA made counterparts. This 2012 Fender Stratocaster is a great example of a MIJ Stratocaster, and is based on a vintage '57 spec. The neck profile is a late '50s style Soft 'V', and the body features a single ply white guard, along with an 'Old Lake Placid Blue' finish, emulating the look of a slightly dulled down, aged factory custom colour. The body is fitted with USA vintage spec single coil pickups.
This guitar is in very good, with next to no signs of play wear to the finish on both the back and front.
