This 2009 Nash JB63 bass guitar is a fitting homage to the Fender Jazz Bass, the go-to bass for studio and stage since its introduction in 1960. This vintage-styled bass combines some period correct specs with modern updates and a nicely aged finish.
Built by Nash Guitars, renowned for their meticulous attention to detail and quality, the JB63 features an alder body that delivers a balanced, resonant tone. Its maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard offers smooth, comfortable playability and a fast, responsive feel. The 34" scale length and 20 frets ensure precise intonation and a wide tonal range, while a more modern 10" fingerboard radius enhances playability.
Equipped with hand-wound Lollar pickups, the JB63 produces warm, punchy, and articulate sounds that capture the essence of the original Jazz Bass. The traditional control layout includes two volume knobs and one tone knob, allowing you to dial in a variety of tones from deep, growling lows to snappy, clear highs.
Aged for a vintage look, the 2009 Nash JB63 lightly relic'd finish that gives it an authentic, road-worn appearance, along with a unique competition stripe on the lower body contour.
