This Tokai SG Junior is a straightforward, single-pickup model that captures the spirit of the classic SG design in a lightweight and comfortable format. Built with a solid body and a slim-profile neck, it offers easy playability and plenty of resonance, with the double cutaway body shape provides excellent upper fret access. The original pickup has been replaced with a Gibson P90, giving the guitar a notable upgrade in tone, making the guitar versatile across rock, blues, and punk styles, while still maintaining the simplicity of a single-pickup layout.
Tuners, bridge and nut have also been replaced but remain in line with the Junior’s stripped-back design, offering a straightforward setup that keeps the focus on playability and tone.
This guitar has had a full service and appraisal by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop and includes a 1 year warranty for any set-up or repair work with our luthiers.
