The Gibson Reverse Flying V was initially released as an extremely limited "Guitar of the Week" limited edition in 2007 and proved popular with Flying V fans, leading Gibson to produce an expanded limited run in 2008 for the 50th Anniversary of the Flying V model. This 2008 Gibson Reverse Flying V is one of these limited models, with only 300 guitars produced in this Ebony Black finish. The unique reverse body design is fitted with a set of Gibson Classic '57 vintage voiced humbuckers, and a reversed string through body tailpiece. The Mahogany neck features an Ebony fret board and has a comfortable modern tapered Gibson neck profile. Other features include gold hard ware and a set of vintage style Kluson tuners. This guitar also includes its original fitted hard case.
