The Gibson Les Paul LP-295 was released as one of the unique creations for the companies "Guitar of the Month" series, and was limited to only 1000 instruments. Paying homage to the ES-295, arguably one of the most unique Gibson guitars in the companies history, it draws on stylistic elements of the model, combining them with the tone and playability of the classic Les Paul solid body model.
This 2008 Gibson Les Paul LP-295 is one of these limited models, in exceptional condition and now rather sought after. The traditional Maple topped Mahogany body of the Les Paul is given the ES-295 treatment with the addition of a Florentine cutaway, split pearl fretboard inlays, bound headstock and the distinctive floral pattern pickguard that makes the original so identifiable. The Mahogany neck features a Rosewood fret board and has a comfortable modern tapered Gibson neck profile. The body is fitted with a set of Classic '57 hum buckers, and a Bigsby vibrato also comes factory fitted. This guitar also includes its original Gibson hard case and paperwork.
