Fender guitars manufactured in Japan have long been considered some of the best value instruments produced by the company in recent decades, with a craftsmanship and value for money that is unmatched in other equivalent ranges, recreating classic vintage models with a huge amount of attention to detail. This 2005 JM66 Reissue Jazzmaster is a great mid 2000's example from the Fender Japan factory, featuring an Alder body with custom colour Candy Apple red finish with matching headstock, unbound slab rosewood board with dot inlays and vintage voiced Jazzmaster single coil pickups. Although designated a '66 reissue for the Japanese market, this Jazzmaster actually features appointments more associated with pre-CBS era Fender offset guitars. This guitar is internally and externally original, with the original pickups, wiring, 3 ply white pickguard and threaded saddle bridge.
