One of the most iconic instruments from the golden era of vintage Gretsch guitars, the 6121 Roundup was the pinnacle of all things Western themed in the Gretsch lineup. This 2004 Gretsch G6121 Roundup features a semi hollow mahogany body with a carved maple top and 3 piece neck. The body also features the classic 'G' cattle brand stamp on the lower bout.
The body is fitted with a set of Dynasonic pickups used by Gretsch on the earliest Roundup models, offering the signature twang Gretsch guitars have become so known for, with plenty of clarity, and plenty of punch and bite when pushing a tube amp. This guitar is finished in a Western Orange Lacquer stain stain that shows off the grain of the Maple, and features vintage western themed block pearl fret markers, open gear Grover tuners and a Bigsby vibrato tail piece.
This guitar is in excellent, near mint condition with its original case, with barely any signs of play wear to speak of. The original roller bridge is retained in the case. This guitar has been given a full service by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 3 year warranty and its original Gretsch hard case.
