2004 Fender '62 Reissue Telecaster Custom

This 2004 Fender ’62 Reissue Telecaster Custom is an excellent example of Japanese Fender production, known for its consistent build quality and close adherence to vintage specifications. Fender Japan instruments from this period are widely respected for offering authentic vintage-style appointments with modern reliability. This model faithfully recreates the 1962 Telecaster Custom, incorporating many of the original design features.

It features an alder body finished in a vintage-style three-tone sunburst, complete with the distinctive bound body associated with early Custom models. The guitar is fitted with Japanese-made single-coil pickups, delivering a warm, clear tone with strong vintage character. A tinted gloss maple neck with a slim ’C’ profile and traditional four-bolt construction provides a comfortable playing feel. Appointments include a three-saddle brass bridge, Kluson-style tuners, and a later-added Bigsby vibrato tailpiece.
