The Fender Custom Shop has long been the pinnacle of modern guitar manufacturing, offering both period correct vintage reissues and more modern takes on classic Fender models, finished with the highest attention to detail. This 2001 Fender Custom Shop Classic Player Stratocaster is an early example of the quality produced by the Custom Shop, and combines high end features with the classic '50s Strat look. The Alder body is finished in a glossy Piano Black, with a set of 1st generation Noiseless single coil pickups and a black single ply pick guard. This generation of Noiseless pickups perhaps best capture that traditional single coil chime, losing none of the character of those pickups while removing any possible hum issues. The neck is made from a good looking piece of Birds Eye maple with abalone inlays. Other features include a set of Sperzel locking tuners and a two point synchronised tremolo.
This guitar has been given a full service by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 3 year warranty. Also included is the original Fender case and Custom Shop Certificate.
