The Fender Custom Shop are known for producing some of the best modern recreations of vintage instruments around, and this 1963 Telecaster NOS is a perfect example. Featuring an Alder body finished in a classic Candy Apple Red custom colour lacquer, the Custom Shop NOS spec replicates a box fresh, brand new guitar, as if you'd jumped in a Time Machine back to 1963 and picked it up from your local guitar shop. The Maple neck features a round veneer Rosewood fingerboard and an early '60s style 'C' shape neck profile. The tuners and hardware are all period correct, as are the decal and clay dot inlays. The body is fitted with a set of Custom Shop Twisted Tele single coil pickups, for a vintage voiced tone with slightly hotter output.
This guitar is in excellent condition, and includes a period correct brown tolex Fender case, bridge cover and certificate. This guitar has been given a full service & appraisal by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop. This guitar also includes a 3 year warranty.
