The Fender American Deluxe was the companies top of the range modern electric guitar for over a decade, before being replaced by the American Ultra series. Featuring a contoured neck heel and compound radius, the American Deluxe was the guitar for the modern player, ready for anything the stage or studio could throw at it. This 2001 American Deluxe Telecaster features an Alder body with a vibrant Sienna Sunburst finish, along with a maple neck that sports a comfortable 'C' shaped neck profile and a rosewood board with a 9.5" to 14" compound radius for effortless playability. The contoured neck heel allows easy access to the upper frets, while a modern 2 point tremolo system is perfect for free flowing vibrato use without compromising tuning stability. The first generation of the American Deluxe manufactured between 1998-2003 featured no S1 pickup switching, and also came with 'Vintage Noiseless' single coil pickups. This guitar is in very good all original condition with minimal play wear, and is internally and externally original.
