This 2000 Gibson Les Paul Standard is a great example of a more modern Les Paul Standard, incorporating all the features associated with these guitars that made them the flagship Gibson solid body for so many years. Constructed from a Mahogany body with Maple top and Mahogany neck, this guitar features a plain top with detailed grain and a Honeyburst lacquer finish. The neck features a standard Gibson taper for the period and is comfortable and easy to play. The body is fitted with a set of 498T and 490R pickups in the bridge and neck position respectively, with a clear articulation and dynamic response that is perfect for clean, bluesy playing and heavier electric guitar tones. Other features include a tune-o-matic bridge and stop tailpiece, Grover tuners and the guitars original brown tolex case.
This guitar is in excellent condition and is internally and externally original. This guitar has been give a full service by our luthiers at The Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 3 year warranty.
