First introduced in 1961, the Gibson SG has been a go to for players of all kinds for over half a century for its signature Gibson humbucker sound and unique style. This 1999 Gibson SG Special is a fantastic example of a great quality, affordable late '90s Gibson guitar. Featuring a Mahogany neck and body design, nickel hardware and and dot fret markers, the SG Special keeps the looks stripped back, with a focus on great tone and playability. The body is fitted with a set of 490R & 498T pickups that are voiced with a hotter output, and are well suited to a range of playing styles.
This guitar is in very good, original condition with only minimal play wear and includes a non original case. As with all our instruments, this Gibson SG has been given a thorough service by the Vintage Instrument Workshop and is guaranteed for 3 years in line with our vintage instrument warranty.
