This 1998 Gibson Les Paul DC Standard is a great example of a more modern Les Paul Standard, pairing many of the features of a tradition single cut Les Paul guitar with the double cutaway body shape of late '50s style Les Paul Juniors. Constructed from a Mahogany body with Maple top and Mahogany neck, this guitar features tightly flamed grain pattern. The neck features a standard Gibson taper for the period and is comfortable and easy to play. The body is fitted with a set of 498T and 490R pickups in the bridge and neck position respectively, with a clear articulation and dynamic response that is perfect for clean, bluesy playing and heavier electric guitar tones. Other features include a tune-o-matic bridge and stop tailpiece, Grover tuners and the guitars original brown tolex case.
This guitar is in excellent condition and is internally and externally original. This guitar has been give a full service by our luthiers at The Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 3 year warranty.
