This 1989 Gibson Les Paul Standard is a beautifully clean late 80's Gibson, with a balanced weight and excellent sound. The neck features a standard Gibson taper for the period and is comfortable and easy to play. The original Tobacco Sunburst finish is in excellent condition and still very vibrant.
This guitar has barely any signs of cosmetic wear to speak of, although there have been some internal changes. The original pickups have been swapped out for a set of Lollar Imperials which sound fantastic, and the electronics and pots appear to have been replaced at the same time. The finish, hardware and tuners are all original. This guitar has been give a full service by our luthiers at The Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 3 year warranty. Also included is the original brown tolex, pink lined hard case.
