Founded in the mid-1960s, Greco quickly rose to prominence during Japan’s guitar boom of the following decade, producing an extensive range of instruments that often echoed classic American designs. Many of these models matched or even surpassed their Western counterparts in craftsmanship and playability, cementing Greco’s reputation for exceptional quality and value. Today, the brand is highly regarded among players seeking authentic vintage character without the high price tag.
This 1988 Greco White Falcon is a stunning Japanese-made interpretation of Gretsch’s most renowned model, showcasing the company’s meticulous approach to vintage reproduction. Equipped with Filter’Tron-style humbuckers, it offers a wide spectrum of bright, articulate, and resonant tones reminiscent of the original White Falcon’s classic voice.
