This 1985 Fender '68 Reissue Paisley Telecaster is the perfect example of a Japanese made Fender guitar, with the combination of build quality and tone that has made these '80s and '90s models a go to for players over the years. This Fender Telecaster is one of the first run of Paisley reissues made by Fender Japan, and features the classic Pink Paisley design that was available for a short time in the late '60s, with the original models fetching huge prices on the vintage market. This guitar is constructed from an Alder body and fitted with a set of vintage voiced single coil pickups from the Fender Japan factory, with the bridge pickup on this guitar sounding particularly good. The tinted gloss lacquer Maple neck has a comfortable late '60s style profile and the four bolt neck design. Other features include a 3 brass saddle bridge and Kluson style tuners.

This guitar is in very good, original condition, with only the most minor signs of general player wear, and some wear to the lacquer by the top strap button. This guitar has been given a full service by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 3 year warranty.
