Westerly built Guild acoustics continue to represent some of the best value in vintage American guitars, offering rich, full bodied tone and excellent craftsmanship at a price point that still compares favourably to many contemporary Martin and Gibson models. This 1983 Guild D25M is a superb example of a well played but well preserved dreadnought, with a warm, open sound and plenty of character.
Built during Guild’s long running Rhode Island production period, the D25M features a solid spruce top paired with solid mahogany back and sides, delivering strong projection, clear midrange response, and the dry, woody tonal character these guitars are known for. The arched mahogany back design adds both structural strength and a distinctive resonance, while the comfortable slim neck profile makes for an easy playing experience.
Finished in cherry, this guitar is presented in very good condition overall, showing only light signs of age and use consistent with a well cared for instrument of this era. This guitar is all original and free of any repair work.
As with all our vintage instruments, this guitar has been given a thorough service by the Vintage Instrument Workshop and is guaranteed for 2 years in line with our vintage instrument warranty. Get an additional 3 years workshop warranty cover with the No.Tom Guitars Extended Warranty.
