This 1980s Tokai TA-35 is a solid, reliable little vintage Japanese amp with a lot of tone for its size!
Tokai’s amplifiers from this period are rarely available - but they’ve earned a reputation for being well-built, straightforward, and great value compared to other vintage solid-state combos.
The TA-35 delivers a clean, clear sound with enough headroom for home practice, small rehearsals, or recording. The onboard EQ is responsive, letting you shape everything from bright, cutting cleans to warmer mid-focused tones. The push/pull gain channel on the master volume allows the amp to crank and break up beautifully! The amp also has its own built in reverb.
Construction is typical Tokai - sturdy, built to last and plenty of fun!
The cabinet is solid, controls are intact, and the amp functions as it should. For players who want a dependable vintage combo with a distinct MIJ flavour, the TA-35 is a great option.
This particular amp remains in good original condition.
