Introduced in 1965, the Martin D-35 is one of the company's most iconic dreadnought guitars alongside the D-18 & D-28. This model from 1980 is a great example of a Martin from this period, featuring a nicely aged Spruce top and rather beautiful 3 piece Indian Rosewood back as was the standard on the D-35.
This guitar is in very good condition, with only minor signs of play wear and some light ageing and checking to the lacquer finish. The guitar is internally and externally original, including the bridge, saddle, pickguard and tuners. Our luthiers carried out some minor repairs to this guitar, with a brace being reglued and some heat treatment applied to the neck to remove a small amount of bow. This guitar also includes its original black Martin hard case.
As with all our vintage instruments, this guitar has been given a thorough service by the Vintage Instrument Workshop and is guaranteed for 3 years in line with our vintage instrument warranty.
