The Gibson ES-175 was introduced in 1949 as the companies mid level electric arch top, as a more affordable option to the high end L5 models, and remained the companies flagship deep body electric arch top for 70 years. This model from 1980 is a wonderful example of a more modern ES-175, equipped with a set of Classic '57 Humbuckers and featuring the more sought after natural finish. This guitar is constructed from a Maple top with Maple back and sides. This guitar features a comfortable, slim neck profile with a crown peg head inlay and the typical split parallelogram fingerboard inlay.

This guitar is in very good condition, and is internally and externally original. The finish displays some signs of reacting with a strap or case interior, leading to small red marks around the pickup selector, on the back of the body, and the bottom edge around the strap button. Also included is a non original case. This guitar has been given a full service by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 3 year warranty.
