Built in Westerly, Rhode Island, this 1989 Guild D25 is a fitting example of the model that had been Guild's affordable end of dreadnought acoustic guitars for decades by this point. Featuring a spruce top with a mahogany arched back, sides, and neck, the D25 delivers strong projection and plenty of volume with a articulate, balanced sound thanks to its tonewood pairing and arched construction.
This example has a rosewood fingerboard and matching belly-down bridge, with Grover tuners and a comfortable C-shaped neck profile. The sunburst lacquer finish has aged nicely to give it a great vintage look, and this guitar comes fitted with an L.R. Baggs pickup and a non original case.
This guitar is in very good condition, with only minor signs of play wear to report, and no repair work having been carried out. This guitar has been given a full service by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 2 year warranty.
