Introduced in 1931, the Martin D-28 has long been regarded as the company's flagship dreadnought guitar, earning its place as an iconic instrument in the world of acoustic music. Over the decades, it has been the guitar of choice for countless artists, gracing innumerable recordings and becoming a staple of 20th-century music. This particular model, made in 1979, is a stunning example of the D-28's timeless appeal. It features a beautifully aged Spruce top and a two-piece Indian Rosewood back, both of which have developed a rich, resonant character over the years.

The guitar is in very good cosmetic condition, with minimal signs of wear other than one repaired top crack, with only the natural aging of the Spruce top to mention otherwise. It is internally and externally original, and includes a Hiscox hard case.

As with all our vintage instruments, this guitar has been given a thorough service by the Vintage Instrument Workshop and is guaranteed for 2 years in line with our vintage instrument warranty. Get an additional 3 years workshop warranty cover with the No.Tom Guitars Extended Warranty
